Johns Creek Studios is excited to announce our Podcast Editing Services. If you are overwhelmed with the process of editing your podcast or simply do not where to being, reach out to use and we can help you build a package of editing services that will best meet your needs.

Editing Services Information

  • Podcast editing services are available on a per episode basis.
  • Contracted Term Agreements are available to reduce costs to podcasters in exchange for a commitment to use the service for a specific period. Commitments range from 3 months to 1 year and begin at $50/episode on a 3-month commitment.
  • Contracted Term Agreements may be cancelled by the podcaster or Johns Creek Studios anytime within the last 10 business days of the agreements expiration or they will be automatically renewed at the current available rates.
  • All invoices for editing and term agreements must be paid within 10 business days from the date issued to avoid late fees in the amount of 1.5% of the accumulated invoice amount due per day.

Per Minute Fees:

Base Fee:$1.50Per minute of unedited audio
Editing Fee:$1.00Per minute of removed audio
Example:30 Minute uploaded WAV file + 5 Minutes of Audio Removed in Editing$45.00 + $5.00 = $50.00 for the episode

Cost Calculations:

Unedited Audio is rounded to the nearest :30 second mark for cost calculation purposes.

  • Examples:
    • 15:45 = 16 Minutes
    • 27:31 = 27.5 Minutes
    • 12:12 – 12 Minutes

Removed Audio is rounded to the nearest 15 second mark for cost calculation purposes.

  • Examples:
    • 2:24 = 2.5 Minutes
    • 8:29 = 8.5 Minutes
    • 19:05 = 19 Minutes

Other Services:

Background and Room Noise Reduction$2.50 per episode (Included for all term contracted customers)
Audio enhancements (including equalization, normalization, compression, and leveling)$2.50 per episode (Included for all term contracted customers)
Mixing intro, outro, and other audio branding$2.50 per episode (Included for all term contracted customers)
ID3 Tagging$1.25 per episode (Included for all term contracted customers)
Upload final audio to hosting platform$1.25 per episode (Included for all term contracted customers)
Guaranteed 72-hour turnaround**Included for all term contracted customers.
**72 hours is defined in the terms of this policy and any term contracted agreement as 3 business days NOT including Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday. Content submitted after normal business hours (Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM EST) will be considered received at the open of business the following business day.  Faster turnaround times are available for term contracted customers for an additional fee per episode or a one-time fee to cover the term of the agreement.
